This project in Laguna Beach was completed based on the client’s specific request. To ensure privacy for those relaxing on the terrace, one section of the glass railing was installed with frosted glass, while the rest was made of clear tempered glass to provide unobstructed views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. The installation was done using a base shoe system to maintain the clean aesthetic and open feel of the space, while ensuring safety.

 

The slope of the terrace started at the base of the house and increased to seven inches by the end of the terrace. We took precise measurements to ensure a perfect level finish along the top of the railing. Additionally, we used square aluminum cap rails for a sleek, modern look.
